  If could be possible, according to BBC News, that instead the Return of the King DVD to be released in August, we can hope for a three month earlier date, making it May.

  No single film has won more than 11 Oscars , and only three films have achieved that. Ben-hur in 1959, Titanic in 1997 and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King in 2003. Only 2 trilogies have had all three films nominated and they are The Godfather and The Lord of the Rings . But collectively all three films of the Lord of the Rings have won more awards than anyother.

Return of the King rules Oscars - 5 comments
  The Lord of the Rings was nominated for 11 Oscars on January 27th and on Febuary 29th, it won it's 11 awards.

Grammy Awards - 5 comments
  Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings has had extraoridanry accomplishments. They have been nominated for a vast amount of awards. Including nominations from The Academy Awards and The Golden Globes but last Sunday The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers took home a Grammy .

Wellington Premiere - 3 comments
  I personally was not at the Premiere in Wellington, but One News was. There is a six minute clip of the premiere, with speeches from Sir Ian McKellan and Sean Astin, as well as Viggo Mortenson speaking in Elvish.
